I live 5 miles outside of Chatfield with my husband, Bill. We have 4 grown children, and 5 grandchildren, all of whom live in the area. I have worked in Early Childhood for nearly 20 years including Head Start, ECFE and licensed home daycare. I currently hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and have been continuing my education a little each year. I've worked at Learn & Play since they opened and have enjoyed getting to know the families and teaching the children put into my care. Each child is so unique. I'm truly blessed to be a part of their lives.
Hi! I am Diane Brown and I used to be a 6th grade teacher but prefer teaching preschool. I grew up in Decorah, IA and graduated from Iowa State. My husband is from Princeton, NJ, and attended Rutgers until he transferred to IBM in Rochester. We live in Rochester with our cocker spaniel who enjoys eating everything we grow in our garden. We also enjoy baking for Best of Show ribbons and have had the best chocolate chip cookies at the Olmsted County Fair for six years!
