My name is Doug Wright. I am 37 years old. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Winona State University. I am the interim director and I am in charge of the day to day operations of the center. I have three children (20,18,11). I live in Rochester with my wife and children. I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with friends.
My name is Laura Akers and I am the Promotional Director at Learn & Play, as well as a substitute lead teacher. I have lived in Chatfield my entire life and am lucky enough to be able to raise my four children here as well. My oldest son started kindergarten in the fall of 2010. My other three children (ages 3, 2 & 3 months) attend Learn & Play part time. I ran a licensed daycare in Chatfield for 5 years, and now have the opportunity to continue caring for children at Learn & Play. I have been married for 5 years, and keep busy with our children, and my photography business. During my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking, shopping, and photography.
